We are currently rehearsing a new four movement suite
by Bill entitled "Restless Motion" based on the spoken
word poetry of Joan Egeland - Scott
and will feature special guests, the Performance Art duo,
Praxis (Brainard Carey and Delia Bajo) in collaboration with the Trio.
The Trio and Praxis will be performing "Restless Motion" at the following locations:

The Bill Stevens Songbook will be performing at private
engagements throughout the New York City region.
Bill recently had the opportunity to work with bassist
Todd Coolman on his internet based Artist Share Learning Community Project
which brought together composers (of which Bill was one)
and his quintet featuring Brian Lynch, trumpet; Eric Alexander, tenor saxophone;
Jim McNeely, piano; Todd Coolman, bass and John Riley, drums.
Bill's composition, Full Circle, is featured on the cd entitled - Perfect Strangers.
