Official Praxis Artwork For Sale

Praxis is making a film and we are raising funds to complete our masterpiece. The film is about the daily struggle for happiness and why it often remains elusive. Why are we happy one day and grumpy the next?
By shopping here you support a film whose goal is to increase the awareness that we all share similar struggles, and in that sense, we are united, and that is where hope grows.

For the first time, we are making museum quality pieces available to the public as well as other work offered only here.
No matter if you are friend, family or a giant important collector, this is work made by externally validated rising stars (us) and promises to make you admired and respected (perhaps misunderstood as well) by your friends.
It is every collectors dream to have a friend balk at a new artwork and say,
"what is that!"
Rest assured we have work that will elicit that reaction inviting you to expound on the nature of art or remain a mystery by answering the question simply,
"that, my friend, is art."

Content of Desperation, book.

This is also published by onestar press from Paris, France, edition 250. If its dirty laundry you want, this is it. In the year 2000, Delia was pregnant unexpectedly and we were also unexpectedly broke with no insurance. We decided we wanted to have this baby, but that didn't help our financial situation. So we wrote to thousands of people we didn't know on the internet (Spam they call it) and asked for advice and/or money. Well, we did got lots of both, and the letters which are reproduced here span the emotional spectrum. Some people told us to go to hell, sell the baby and worse! Others offered good advice on public healthcare to instructions on how to be a pot dealer. A real page turner and a bargain.
$35 or $50 dollars to get it with the DVD Edamame above.
Paperback, 250 pages, perfect bound.

  Painting from Whitney Biennial

Not Enough Bandages

These painting made of bandages carefully applied with expensive glues to make them stick forever, were also exhibited at The Whitney Biennial. They are meant to be exhibited stacked on their sides, but that is to counter the obvious associations when you hang these on end next to one another. Made shortly after 9/11 in our studio in the East Village, these can be decorative or dark depending on how they are hung. All in all it is pleasing contructions, meticulously made with love, sadness and hope. Now there's a good story to tell, contributing your own as well and starting a cocktail discussion.

  Philanthropy is very chic
OK, so you think, well, I don't really buy much art, or maybe, I am an artist, I make my own why should I buy this? We won't argue with you, but there is still one option left, and that is to become a philanthropist. Perhaps you think that sounds too big for your shorts. Relax, and take heed, for only $5 you are as generous as Rockefeller in our eyes. And now that we are talking philanthropy, we will also be grateful in proportion to the amount you give, so if that's your bag, consider yourself thanked for even considering this and press the button below and type with your heart.
